How to Apply Wise Owl Paint Varnish

Sealing a piece of furniture doesn’t need to be tedious. I use Wise Owl Paint Varnish to seal my pieces-especially the pieces that are used in high traffic areas.. It’s pretty rad compared to other sealers I have used in the past. It is water resistant, doesn’t yellow with UV light, hard as nails, water based, and has no odor-which means it is free Formaldehyde. I usually put about 3 thin coats of varnish on high traffic areas and the best part is you don’t have to buff it out like wax.

Bonus: Varnish comes in 2 finishes, Matte and Satin. Both self level.

Key to using the varnish is not to go back and forth when applying because the varnish dries super fast. When applying it may look white at first but once dry it will be clear. I wait about 3-4 hours between coats. the varnish takes about 21-30 days to cure.

What do I use to apply varnish? I use and auto detailing sponge which can be found on Amazon or your local auto store.
